The Edition Two collection takes rug design to a creative new heights with artistic collaborations that embrace the language of weaves and motifs and draw inspiration from artistic cultural references. All designs in this collection are expertly tufted by Tai Ping artisans.
Ora ïto
Since gaining recognition in 1997 with his digital artworks based on virtual Vuitton and Apple products, French artist and designer Ora ïto and his multidisciplinary design studio have collaborated with a galaxy of brands including Guerlain, Cassina and Christofle. Known for combining sleek minimalist forms with organic techno-futuristic elements, ïto has completed a host of notable architecture projects. Among them was his transformation in 2013 of Le Corbusier’s rooftop gym at the Cite Radieuse apartment complex in Marseilles into the contemporary art space MAMO. Rug designs by ïto can be found in Tai Ping’s Edition Two collection.
