A pioneer of digital art since the late 1970s, the Mexico-born, Paris-based Miguel Chevalier creates installations using virtual reality, holography, LED lighting, 3D printing and other cutting-edge technology as an artistic means of expression. His art and design objects are in constant metamorphosis, plunging viewers into a poetic and very contemporary universe. Chevalier has produced exhibitions and installations for museums, art centres, galleries and public spaces around the world including the Pompidou Centre and The Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Kwangju Biennale and The Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.
