Drawing from the world of entomology, Lamella takes its inspiration from the tiny paddle shapes on insect antennae. Here this anatomical feature is reappraised as an object of grace and femininity. Fanned out against a shade of pale rose, the design’s stark extensions display a lithe elegance that bring to mind the movements of a ballerina. This design is expertly tufted by skilled artisans.
