The London outpost of this famous restaurant celebrates food and culture from around the globe. After 20 years of dormancy, the eatery has returned to the capital city as a private members’ club. Though the institution is technically exclusive, the vibe is anything but. Eschewing dress codes and stuffy traditions, the new Caviar Kaspia wants to open its arms to members and their friends, inviting an eclectic and interesting mix of guests.
Each floor has a distinct function: boutique, cocktail bar, dining room. Maximalist décor creates an intimate and welcoming setting, titillating the senses with a smorgasbord of colours and patterns. Fabricated with guidance from Portuguese design company Oitoemponto, Tai Ping carpets blanket every available centimetre of floor space. Geysers of royal blue and gold spout in a recurring motif on the cocktail bar rug. The restaurant sports an elegant design underfoot wherein isolated bouquets bloom in pale pink and green against a stark black background. The staircases and hallway floors vibrate with leopard-print energy while geometric diamonds dance across the lounge in jewel tones.
